Shohei Ohtani had a remarkable day at the plate, going 4 for 4 with two home runs as the Los Angeles Dodgers secured a 5-1 victory over the Atlanta Braves, completing a sweep of the three-game series.

Ohtani’s first home run came in the opening inning when he sent a hanging curveball from Braves starter Max Fried soaring 412 feet over the center field fence, scoring two runs.

He followed up with two singles in the third and sixth innings before smashing another home run in the eighth inning, a colossal 464-foot shot off reliever A.J. Minter into the left center field bleachers.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts marveled at Ohtani’s exceptional performance, highlighting his ability to consistently achieve feats that are rarely seen in baseball.

This marked Ohtani’s first multi-home run game with the Dodgers and the 17th of his career.

His impressive four hits also matched a career high, further solidifying his status as one of the league’s top performers. With this stellar display, Ohtani now shares the major league lead with 10 home runs this season.
