The Green Bay Packers traded up twice on the third day of the 2024 NFL Draft, moving a pair of sixth-round picks that they had coming into the day to climb the board on two occasions. However, that left them with one remaining selection in that round, their original pick at number 202 overall.
The Packers chose to use that selection, and with it they have chosen another offensive lineman: Travis Glover from Georgia State University.
Glover is an extremely tall, long prospect, measuring in at 6-foot-6 and 317 pounds with 34-3/4 inch arms. He started for five seasons at GSU, primarily at left tackle but also spending time at left guard and right tackle. That versatility makes him another interesting piece, but he faced some question marks about the level of competition he played against.
With that said, Glover’s size and length are his physical calling cards, as he was not the Packers’ typical workout specimen. Glover posted poor agility scores and just a middling overall workout for his position. Additionally, ESPN’s Field Yates said on the network’s draft broadcast that Glover struggled at the Senior Bowl when given a chance to play against top opponents.
Glover has at least one phenomenal highlight, however, taking a direct snap on a fake punt:
#GeorgiaState used new @seniorbowl OT Travis Glover on a fake punt against Troy this season and it is ELECTRIC. also had some nice reps against Javon Solomon and Richard Jibunor in this game but look at this lmao: pic.twitter.com/Ke3GIu5tzK

Glover will join first-round pick Jordan Morgan and fifth-rounder Jacob Monk as new additions to the Packers’ offensive line. Green Bay has two more picks coming up late in round seven, at numbers 245 and 255 overall.
