New York Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner named CeeDee Lamb as one the five best wide receivers in the NFL. Gardner also included Miami’s Tyreek Hill, Minnesota’s Justin Jefferson, Las Vegas’ Davante Adams and ex-Cowboy and current Browns star Amari Cooper. The list was delivered in no particular order while he spoke on “The Pivot” podcast.

Lamb had a monstrous campaign in 2023, catching 135 passes for 1749 yards and 12 touchdowns. Hill was special as well, hauling in 119 catches for 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns. Jefferson only played in 10 games due to injury but still finished with 68 catches for 1,074 yards and five touchdowns. Adams battled inconsistency at quarterback but still managed 103 catches for 1,144 yards and eight scores. Last but not least, Cooper was effective despite the injury bug plaguing Cleveland’s quarterback room. The former Cowboy finished with 72 catches for 1,250 yards and five scores.

Garner is one of the best corners in the league despite only arriving in the 2022 NFL Draft. He played 16 games last season and forced a fumble while recording 11 passes defensed. He made the Pro Bowl and was First-Team All-Pro.

A product of the University of Cincinnati, Garner has quickly emerged as one of the more popular players in the NFL. He was selected No. 4 overall by the New York Jets in the 2022 draft.

Garner had a breakout campaign as a rookie, finishing with 75 tackles, a couple of interceptions and a league-best 20 passes defensed. He won Defensive Rookie of the Year honors and was First-Team All-Pro.
